Museum of International Folk Art

I checked out the Museum of International Folk Art located on Museum Hill in Santa Fe during the International Folk Art Market. There were so many amazing pieces on display in this museum, and I was happy that photography was allowed in most of the galleries.

My favorite area was the Girard Wing: it contained popular arts and ephemera from Europe, and the Juvenile Drama dioramas from England, France and Germany made it feel like I was walking through a toy store from the past. There is also a fine collection of Provencal santons, religious and genre figures, lead soldiers from various countries, and Sicilian puppets in this wing.
