DE.PRESS.ING. Yikes! I knew that New Mexico had quite a history, riddled with wars and bloodshed, but seeing it all condensed into one seemingly never-ending display was very disturbing. I’m not much of a history buff, but I thought I’d finally stop in here during my First Friday excursion. Once again, the admission was free and the museum was open later than usual.
Honestly, I found the whole experience at this museum quite draining and did not go through each and every exhibit in the place. All I can say is that it’s no wonder some things are the way they are here in New Mexico with such a history of violence and deception in its relatively recent past.
